Worldy People is a recruitment business for the Hospitality and Events industry
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect the following categories of personal information from our customers, candidates and Site visitors:
Customer candidate contact Information such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number, employment history etc.
We also collect the following information from our customers: Information about a customer’s business such as company name, company size, business type, and contact information.
We use the personal information collected from these individuals only for the following purposes:
Providing service to our customers as requested / agreed to by you (the candidate)
Keeping records of customer activity.
Keeping records of customer information to help us administer our recruitment services
Responding to a customer’s service or support requests.
For marketing purposes.
COLLECTED INFORMATION FROM THIRD PARTIES
Worldy People only collects data from third parties such as job boards and CV databases, for the sole purpose of providing recruitment services to candidates. These details are collected and stored, subject to the same conditions as collected information above. These details are made available to us either by a candidate submitting an application for a job or by a candidate submitting their CV to a CV database of which we are a customer / user.
Worldy People will make all reasonable attempts to ensure that the candidates, whose data we collect in this way, are legitimately interested in using our service in order to continue storing and processing this data. We establish legitimate interest initially by contacting the candidate by email or telephone, inviting them to have an introductory conversation with us. We will do this wherever we feel we are able to provide work-finding services to the candidate even if the candidate cannot be progressed for the role they applied for.
Although Worldy People makes every effort not to contact candidates who are not interested in our services, Worldy People does not guarantee exclusion of any particular candidate from its third party data processing policy as described above, in the event that the candidate’s details are made available to us on another occasion via repeated submission, advert applications or CV database registration. These repeat submissions will be treated as a ‘new’ customer or candidate unless Worldy People finds an obvious identifier to indicate that the candidate has already asked not to be included in Worldy People communication (e.g. an excluded email address).
If you submit your details via the contact form on our website – we may store and process this data for the purpose of fulfilling a service e.g. Worldy Peoples recruitment services. The scope of this service will have been explained when you completed the form. Your data will be stored centrally in a sophisticated and regularly maintained CRM database. All reasonable attempts are made to ensure the safety and security of your data at all times.
EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
We will not share your personal information with third parties for any other purpose than the fulfilment of services you have requested from Worldy People.
With respect to Worldy People’s recruitment services – your personal details including contact details, employment history, CV and references will be passed to prospective employers. We will seek your prior approval to submit this information in each case. We will never sell your information to third parties
HOW TO REMOVE YOUR DATA
You can be removed from our database by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org – requests for removal will be processed as soon as reasonably possible.
Worldy People takes data protection seriously and complies with both The Data Protection Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulations in order to keep your data safe and secure.
This means that we assess and minimise the risk of data breach by consolidating data and storing it centrally. We also employ secure technologies and processes in order to avoid data breach issues.
In the unlikely event of a data breach or data protection issue, Worldy People will then follow its internal data breach contingency protocol which initially involves taking all necessary action to remove data from public access, to address a vulnerability and to retrieve or remove any data that has been made available. Worldy People will first identify the scope and nature of the problem before informing any affected parties of a data breach or suspected data breach.
